The DeltaV-Seal™ is CNC-manufactured in one piece of metal, robust and easy to handle, and since its non-ductile static metal-to-metal, there is no need for re-tightening the bolts after installation. Galvanic corrosion in the connection is avoided as the DeltaV-Seal™ are in the same material as the flanges and the connections are electrically conductive.
The DeltaV-Seal™ unique sealing technology is proven to reduce fugitive emissions from the petroleum industry dramatically. TA Luft Helium test for low emission proved that DeltaV-Seal™ seals tighter than the requirements describing “gastight” solutions (10 000 times tighter than the requirement). Certified by Amtec according to (VDI 2440) in 2016.
FIRE & BLOW OUT SAFE
The DeltaV-Seal™ seals, even when exposed to temperatures created during fire. A test fire with burning time of 30 minutes, temperature ≥ 650°C and 40 bar allows maximum sweating to be 1,00 ml/inch minute. Result; the DeltaV-Seal™ released only 0,01 ml/inch minute (1% of permitted volume!). DeltaV-Seal™ are therefore certified by amtech as Fire Safe according to API 6FB.
DeltaV-Seal™ seals at even 35 % (17 Nm) of required Statoil torque for sheet gaskets. Further EN 13555 leakage test proved that DeltaV-Seal™ allows a considerable higher loss of compression force after seating compared to other gaskets, as well as showing a significantly lower leakage level than other gaskets in the comparison.
LOW MAINTENANCE, LOW LIFE CYCLE COST
The DeltaV-Seal™ is solid metal and designed with a low life cycle cost focus. Fewer variants makes easier logistics and non-ductile static metal-to-metal sealing avoids need for re-tightening the bolts after installation. Certified resistance to vibration, pressure pulses and temperature changes allows for long lifetime. No flanges residue when opened, eliminating the need for cleaning.

TYPE APPROVED SEALING TECHNOLOGY
DeltaV-Seal™ has been verified to resist high mechanical stress and vibrations (10 million repetitions 23,5 Hz). DeltaV-Seal™ also endures pressure pulses (500 000 sequences (0-78-51-0 bar) 1 Hz). Overall design meets the demands of the No-Leakage Test (1,5 times design pressure, min 77 bar) as well as the Burst Pressure Test (4 times design pressure, min 208 bar), allowing DNV-GL to award their first type approval certificate for a sealing technology to DeltaV-Seal™. Certification No. TAP000003B rev.1.
After its initial development and testing started in 2012, the DeltaV-Seal™ technology has undergone a thorough testing program to prove the product quality. Consistently high focus on quality maintenance in the whole value chain.
